AMA Herbal Group has gradually transformed into an emblem of sustainable excellence. The aim was clear from the outset, to let the world understand and adapt to sustainability in their preferences. Any stuff from natural origins is always better than unnatural but still, the majority prefers stuff and products from unnatural sources.
We have transformed this perception with our incomparable range of natural products and solutions. First, AMA Dyes™ successfully countered all the suspicions and queries regarding their application, performance, and variety etc. As the expedition expanded, we introduced several other brands under AMA like Vegetal®, Safe Colour™, Amazing Earth™, HûMaree™, Webuynatural.com, etc.
Company History
Nature has given us everything we just need to recognize its gifts and move to the rhythm of its cycle. If we do not recognize the rhythm of the earth and attempt to move against the rhythm it disturbs the ecological balance. This is exactly what has happened in the past three decades. The same was followed in the line of the Colorant Industry which has caused huge damage to the environment.
Having identified the problem and visualized the future of the Industry we AMA Herbal Laboratories Pvt. Ltd started to research and development on natural and herbal products and their commercialization. In 1996 we launched our first researched product Extract Form of Natural Dyes.
AMA Herbal has become the global leader in Natural Textile Dyes. It is the only company successful in the commercialization of the extract form of natural dyes formulation. This initiative is destined to contribute to saving the environment from harmful chemicals.
Today, AMA Herbal Laboratories Private Limited is the leading manufacturer and exporter of extract form of natural dyes for the textile industry and herbal products. We rely solely on environmental savvy practices and disseminate our message to the whole community at large “World Is Returning towards Nature”. We are a part of nature’s family and promote people’s better life, better future and healthy living today, tomorrow and forever through our natural and herbal products.
People realized, but nothing revolutionary was done to maintain the natural balance. The very first ban on AZO dyes came from Germany in 1995. At that crucial point, Mr Yawer Ali Shah and Mr Masood Ahmad Zaidi envisioned the upcoming environmental hazard and crisis. They decided to begin Research and Development on natural and herbal products for creating a viable commercial option that was 100% natural. Mr Yawer Ali Shah was responsible for that innovative project and Mr Zaidi took care of the funding of it.
We produce the best natural eco-friendly products from our ongoing R&D programme. We make them user friendly and reasonably priced for the benefit of the people and humanity. AMA Herbal products are exported to 36 countries across the world, including the USA, Europe and Asia.
Vision and Mission
There is an old saying that you don’t feel a problem until you feel the pain. A similar scenario took place when the natural balance was disturbed and people started experiencing unexpected natural events such as global warming, increasing air pollution, polluted water resources etc. it was just a beep before an alarming situation. Therefore, in the mid-90s, people started realizing that using chemical colour has disturbed the natural rhythm of Earth.
This is how AMA HERBAL LABORATORIES PVT. LTD came into existence with such a sustainable vision.
The mission of AMA is not just limited to giving the dyeing preferences a sustainable shift but to make people sense and realize the significance of sustainable preferences and habits in professional and personal life. It’s us who make civilization; therefore, we have to be very precise about our choices and ingenuity. So, all in all, AMA is on a mission of establishing absolute sustainability through its products and sustainable endeavors.

Research and Development
Nurturing the world with ingenious sustainable solutions is a continual challenge. We accepted that challenge with a full heart as sustainable innovation is embedded in our DNA and it can be witnessed through our diverse range of natural dyes and other sustainable products.
Our government certified in-house R&D has formulated out of the box innovations like-
- Liquid form of non-toxic plant base hair colour. (patent pending)
- Eco friendly rope dyeing process with natural dyes. (patent pending)
- Energy saving process of dyeing cotton with natural dyes using eco-friendly auxiliaries. (patent pending)
- Natural extracts base formulation for improving the ozone fastness of eco-friendly natural dyes (patent pending)
and 4 more inventions that are awaiting patent.
Along with the natural dyes our R&D has also developed Auxiliaries for natural dyes and pigments for textile printing and waterless dyeing.
Our In-House R&D is recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), part of the Ministry of Science & Technology.
Our R&D focuses on the existing as well as the futuristic sustainable solutions to enhance the performance and utility of our products. With a dynamic team of scientists, technicians, and assistants. They are making sustainable innovations to craft a sustainable dawn.
